Wedded Bliss Ceremony Officiant

We are committed to designing a wedding ceremony that incorporates your beliefs and values, celebrates your love as a couple, and includes traditions that represent your relationship. We are prepared with suggestions for readings or songs that coordinate well with the overall tone of your ceremony.

Your Wedded Bliss officiant will confirm all details once your wedding ceremony is written and perfected, run the rehearsal ceremony, officiate the wedding, and will both sign and mail the marriage license. This streamlined process takes the many wedding stressors off the couple’s plate and helps the ceremony to run smoothly while also being fully customized.

Meet Our Team

Emily Peterson

Emily Peterson

Hi, I’m Emily! (she/her) I am a full time elementary school librarian in Moline. This means that I am extremely detail-oriented, thorough, and precise. I leave no stone unturned when it comes to making sure everything is just right, and I anticipate concerns so that I am prepared with solutions. I am always perfectly planned, while still flexible. I can thank my time with children and adolescents for this!

I am also lucky enough to be a mom of two brilliant little guys named Jensen and Anders, and a wife to my high school sweetheart Todd. We tied the knot in 2010 after dating for almost a decade.

I believe above all else that love is love, and know that each love story is unique. I am genuinely excited to work with you in order to make your day the special occasion you’ll remember for a lifetime. I approach each adventure in life with passion and dedication. I can’t wait to meet you!

Megan Brown-Saldana

Hi, I’m Megan! (she/her) I am the executive director of a Quad City Area non-profit. I am comfortable juggling lots of details at one time, and providing creative solutions on the fly.

I am married to a wonderful husband. The lights of my life are my two four-legged friends named Lola and Khaleesi. In my free time, I love to garden.

The greatest love stories are the ones we don’t expect. I’m a seasoned public speaker who can take the details off your plate to ensure a beautiful and memorable wedding day.

My name is Caitlyn (she/her). You can find me curled up on the couch with my husband and three kittens when I’m not doing weddings or traveling. I’m originally from Des Moines, but currently reside in Davenport where I work as a program director, track and field coach, and of course an officiant with Wedded Bliss. I love being able to work with couples from all walks of life and helping to create magic on your wedding day.

Lisa Powell Williams

My husband, Brian, and I have been married for more than three decades. I never want anyone to wind up with the surprise sermon we received at our wedding. It began with “Marriage is like a ball and chain…” When I served as a pastor of a local congregation, I ensured that the couples I married had a marriage ceremony that celebrated and honored their love.

My favorite wedding to officiate to date was for my godson and his wife. Both are music educators. Together, we crafted their harmonious wedding service.

As your officiant, I look forward to celebrating the joy of the first day of your marriage!

Our History

Emily began officiating weddings in 2015 when a friend asked her to officiate her wedding. The more she crafted the ceremony and spoke with the couple about their vision, the more her passion grew for the process.
